Catch Sitka's black cod are deep cold-water caught black cod and prized for their flavor. Until recently the majority of the catch was exported to foreign markets. Now we know better!

Wild Facts: Fishing it requires bottom long-lines at 1000 ft. or deeper

Great For: Cooking with umami flavors like miso and soy

Favorite Way to Cook: Marinated in coconut aminos (many people use miso) and broiled it until it blackens
