Rooted in community, many of our fishermen spend the entirety of their fishing season living and working on the water in beautiful Southeast Alaska. They catch troll-caught salmon, as well as longline-caught halibut and sablefish, immediately ice their catch, and deliver it directly to our dockside processing facility at the end of each fishing trip. We don’t just offer our fishermen a higher price for their catch- allowing them to make a higher living wage- we also connect them directly to seafood eaters via our direct chain of custody, which is a rarity for fishers working in the context of the massive and murky international seafood market.
