By catching fish on hook and line, our family fishermen forge an intimate relationship to the ocean that sustains us.
Alaska’s fisheries are strictly regulated with longevity in mind. Many of our fishermen run family operations, and fishing sustainably means that their children will have access to our fisheries and bountiful waters. Our fishermen are the ultimate stewards, safeguarding this resource for generations to come.
All of Catch Sitka’s seafood is fished via hook-and-line methods, with the exception of our spot prawns, which are caught during a small sustainable pot fishery in the fall. Our fish is then artisanally processed at our dockside Sitka facility.
