Community and People:
We are committed to our community: There are many challenges associated with living and operating a business in rural Alaska. We commit to hiring local, and adding value to our seafoods right here in Sitka. We would never ship our seafood overseas to be processed in part because we want to keep more money circulating in the hands of Alaskans. We don’t cut corners to save a dime, we love our little coastal community and use our operation to support our neighbors and stimulate our local economy as much as we can.
We are committed to stewarding our resources. Alaska’s fisheries are strictly regulated with longevity in mind. Many of our fishermen run family operations, and fishing sustainably means that their children will have access to our fisheries and bountiful waters. Our fishermen are the ultimate stewards, safeguarding this resource for generations to come.
We keep our process local. Our fish are caught by trusted fishermen in Southeast Alaskan waters, our artisan processors prepare and package portions in our family-owned processing plant, we package each curated box by hand before shipping to our customers. We have our hands on every single part of the process, ensuring consistent quality, service, & satisfaction.
We value our health, the vitality of our families, AND the health of our customers. Purchasing Alaskan wild seafood isn’t just good for the planet, it’s good for our bodies too.
